Take the leap now

What would have happened if David thought “ I am so small and he is so big… when so many people around me can’t do it… will I be able to do it… I don’t even have experience in fighting men”

What would have happened if Ruth thought “How can I leave everything I know so far and follow something/someone I don’t understand. What if I regret leaving everything to follow her and her God”

What would have happened if Mary thought “ Is this really happening to me? Even if God is responsible will anyone believe me. Will I be able to face the humiliation and the suffering? “

Can you imagine how different the Bible would be if the heroes of faith we read about today doubted themselves and did not know where to put their trust… would we be reading about them and finding God through their experiences.

But to believe God completely it means to let go of our fears or to not let our fears guide us in our actions.

For me, my blog is one such action… All of the above doubts went through my mind when I was starting my blog… but when God calls us we have to let go that we are so small or we do not know anything or even the humiliation that comes when we go wrong…

If God is calling you to do something no matter how small or big put faith in him rather than your fears and remember he is the one who works through us, not us working for him.

Remember that the God that gave you the small victory will also give you the big victory.

The God who started the good work in you will finish it too.

The same God who gave you his word is faithful and keeps his promises…

So if you are in a dilemma today In taking the next step no matter how big or small remember to trust God and take the leap…because he is there waiting to catch you and guide you.

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6)
